''Successful startups can only come from successful mentor programmes. And how can you tell whether it’s a good mentor programme? Firstly, it’s like the person who would like to take part in it: You can see the potential immediately, and it can achieve enviable results straightaway. The very first UNI BME Startup Program was exactly like that. If you have a good idea as a university student, and you don’t know who you should turn to, I’ll help: to Startup Campus, as they offer this opportunity this year again.'

''In the world of startups, no matter at which stage our enterprise is, we always need some professional advice and shaping of attitudes. Startup Campus can help the different players in the Hungarian startup ecosystem in this by providing a range of programmes from high school and university programmes to corporate acceleration.'

EIT Urban Mobility challenge
Our main sponsor is EIT Urban Mobility, the initiative of European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) who are looking for ideas and startups that can shape the future of cities, and make urban spaces more liveable.
For this program, we are looking for solutions for the biggest challenges of modern urban transport, including managing increasing traffic, improving public transport, and reducing emissions. We expect ideas to progress the pioneering mobility trends of our time, such as Mobility-as-a-Service, vehicle sharing, autonomous driving, e-mobility, vehicular communication, or any other smart city or urban mobility solutions.

EIT Urban Mobility: Business Creation Programme
The EIT Urban Mobility is the initiative of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) which is directed toward urban transport. With their Business Creation programme, they aim to become a leading player in the market when it comes to launching urban mobility projects as startups and scale-ups. They intend to support 180 startups by 2026, which together will generate € 50 million in revenue and thus prove to be viable in the market.
The BME Z10 is a startup space and incubator created with the help of Budapest University of Technology and Economics’s Center for University-Industry Cooperation (BME FIEK), which also provides technology and knowledge transfer services, business and financial mentoring and thematic trainings. The primarily university startups who settle in here evolve together with the startup ecosystem using the university’s innovation infrastructure, knowledge base, network capital and expert knowledge.
Startup Campus is an international innovation centre and startup incubator. It develops and imp-lements innovation programmes for its corporate and government partners: it supports innovative projects from the idea phase to SMEs with high growth potential through education, incubation, investment, sales and market entry services. Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO)
Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO) is thecentral government office responsible for the protection of intellectual property both in Hungary and internationally. When launching a startup it is inevitable to knowingly protect the IP of an innovative idea, that is why participants in Uni Győr Startup Program are working with professio-nals from HIPO in questions regarding intellectual property.
As one of the largest and most active venture capital funds in Central and Eastern Europe, Hiventures, part of the MFB Group, supports the entire Hungarian entrepreneurial ecosystem with more than 271 billion HUF funding from the European Union and its own resources, providing investment from the idea phase to large corporate investments. In this activity, its professional part-ner is the Hungarian Development Bank (MFB).
Millenáris is not only an important park and venue complex, but is also committed to the startup world.
