''Successful startups can only come from successful mentor programmes. And how can you tell whether it’s a good mentor programme? Firstly, it’s like the person who would like to take part in it: You can see the potential immediately, and it can achieve enviable results straightaway. The very first UNI BME Startup Program was exactly like that. If you have a good idea as a university student, and you don’t know who you should turn to, I’ll help: to Startup Campus, as they offer this opportunity this year again.'

''In the world of startups, no matter at which stage our enterprise is, we always need some professional advice and shaping of attitudes. Startup Campus can help the different players in the Hungarian startup ecosystem in this by providing a range of programmes from high school and university programmes to corporate acceleration.'

''Startup Campus’s training perfectly complemented our theoretical knowledge from university, and provided practical skills that proved extremely useful during implementing our project. Furthermore, we also connected with a lot of teams that are in the same situation as us, and met mentors and staff, from who we could learn a lot.''

EIT Urban Mobility challenge

Our main sponsor is EIT Urban Mobility, the initiative of European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) who are looking for ideas and startups that can shape the future of cities, and make urban spaces more liveable.

For this program, we are looking for solutions for the biggest challenges of modern urban transport, including managing increasing traffic, improving public transport, and reducing emissions. We expect ideas to progress the pioneering mobility trends of our time, such as Mobility-as-a-Service, vehicle sharing, autonomous driving, e-mobility, vehicular communication, or any other smart city or urban mobility solutions.

Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO)

Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO) is thecentral government office responsible for the protection of intellectual property both in Hungary and internationally. When launching a startup it is inevitable to knowingly protect the IP of an innovative idea, that is why participants in Uni Győr Startup  Program are working with professio-nals  from HIPO in questions regarding intellectual  property.
